Jay Reid School of Golf was founded in 2011 at Statesville Country Club. Jay's ability to teach a broad spectrum of students makes him the perfect choice for your golf coach. Since opening his school Jay has been selected to Golf Digest Best in State Teachers with a high rank of 5th in the State. He has also been selected a Top 50 National Coach by Future Champions Golf and  Honorable mention Top 50 by US Kids Golf.

His use of video and ability to communicate a clear understanding of the swing correction have brought him students of all levels from beginner to professional. Jay enjoys teaching all areas of the game with his emphasis being on student improvement and lower scores. He has been a contributing writer to many golf publications and has played in many pro-am tournaments.  His career low round is 64.
