The New Competitive Golfer program is designed as a high school golf prep program and for golfers who compete in organized events such as the Junior Golf Alliance events. NCG is a specialized coaching and training program for aspiring young golfers ages 9-13. Led by Ed Oldham, PGA Master Professional, a two-time Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year and a US Kids Golf Top 50 Coach, the New Competitive Golfer Program provides kids with an opportunity to receive professional, age appropriate coaching and training in a fun and safe environment. This is program will help boys and girls to acquire the necessary fundamentals, skills and confidence to become outstanding golfers.
We use the US Kids Curriculum during the classes. The US Kids Curriculum is age appropriate, game-based learning. The kids will receive a booklet that helps them to keep track of what we are learning and they will receive pins for passing skills checkpoints.
Note: To sign up for this program, students must have passed Level 3 of US Kids Golf Program, are actively competing in junior golf events (such as Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado or US Kids Golf Tour) or have approval from Ed Oldham.
